About the Exhibition
Art of the Small is a Juried Exhibition held in conjunction with the Nanotech Commercialization Conference. Artists were invited through an open call to exhibit work inspired by nanotechnology, nanobiotech, biotechnology, genomics, DNA, and  genetics.  Winning artists in several categories will receive a cash award to be announced at the Awards and VIP Reception on Wednesday, April 4, 5-7pm.

Art submissions will be on display all day on Wednesday, April 4 and Thursday, April 5 during the Nanotech Commercialization Conference.  A VIP Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday April 4 from 5 to 7pm.  All artists whose work has been selected for inclusion in the exhibition have been invited to attend.

Jurors
A panel of expert judges drawn from the worlds of art, science, and science communication selected the winning entries.  The winning art was judged on three key criteria: depiction and representation of the theme, creativity of image representation and innovation in style or technique.

Online Gallery
Following the Conference, images of the exhibition and works from the exhibition will appear in an online gallery supported by COIN for a period of 36 months.
